Oleg Bekh, the head of the National Police Department in the Odesa region, has resigned. According to the media, the current police chief of the Donetsk region, Mykola Semenyshin, may be appointed to this position.
Currently, Semenyshyn has been working as the chief of police of the Donetsk region since September 2017. Before that, he headed the regional headquarters in Khmelnytskyi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. In 2010, he retired after years of service, but after the Maidan he returned to the authorities.
As a reminder, Oleg Beh was appointed head of the National Police in the Odesa region in April 2019.
