The construction of a bridge over the Prut River in the village of Marshintsy of the Novoselytsia District of the Chernivtsi Region will be completed by the end of the year. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a working trip to Bukovyna.
"As we promised, somewhere in early December we will complete this bridge, which will be named by local residents. We call it the Sofia bridge, because Sofia Rotaru was born in this place," the head of state said.
Zelensky noted that the progress of construction of infrastructure facilities in the Chernivtsi region is monitored with the help of video cameras.
The bridge in the village of Marshintsy is located on the T-26-06 /N-03 road. It will connect the Novoselytsky and Hertsaevsky districts of the Chernivtsi region. The construction project envisages the construction of a bridge crossing with a length of 323,6 linear meters with a complex of embankment structures and approaches to it. The length is 1,8 km.
