The accident occurred at approximately 7:55 a.m. on highway N-27 Chernigov – Gremyach near the village of Brusylov in Chernigov Oblast. The truck crashed into a minibus traveling along the route Chernihiv - Sosnitsa.
11 people died as a result of the accident. Another eight received injuries of varying degrees of severity. Law enforcement officers and rescuers are working on the spot, in particular, 10 people and 3 units of equipment are involved in unblocking.
It is known that the minibus was moving in the direction of Chernihiv, and the truck was moving in the direction of Menu. The truck driver survived and is in the hospital.
According to Chernihiv rescuers and firemen, the section of the highway is not dangerous, there has never been a concentration of traffic accidents on it.
