Today, August 25, for the first time in history, Zaporizhzhia NPP was completely disconnected from the power grid, — Energoatom
Due to fires at the ash pits of the Zaporizhzhya TPP, located next to the ZNPP, the last (fourth) ZNPP communication line with the energy system of Ukraine - PL-750 kV ZNPP - "Dniprovska" was disconnected twice.
Three other communication lines were previously damaged during shelling.
As a result, two working power units of the station were disconnected from the network. Thus, the actions of the invaders caused a complete disconnection of the ZNPP from the power grid - the first in the history of the plant.
