It is noted that after the accident, many people made their way to the shore on their own. Some were picked up by coast guard teams sent to the scene, as well as water taxis.
The governor of Fethiye, Eyup Firat, arrived at the scene of the accident.
"A hole appeared in the front part of the boat, and it began to fall apart," Firat said.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 3, but it became known at the beginning of the working week.
