In Odessa, the Security Service exposed the members of the worldwide criminal organization from Italy "Ndrangheta". They organized the smuggling of drugs into the EU through Ukraine.

It is noted that three organizers of the drug business were detained during a special operation in Odessa. Almost 60 kg of cocaine worth $10 million at black market prices were seized from the perpetrators.
50 briquettes with cocaine weighing more than 60 kg were hidden in the technological cavities of a marine refrigerated container with bananas.
According to the investigation, three members of an international criminal group - citizens of Albania, Romania and Ukraine - organized the import of narcotics from Ecuador, hiding from customs control through the container terminal of one of the port operators.
The issue of notifying the detainee of suspicion and selecting a preventive measure in the form of detention is resolved.
It should be noted that cocaine has been detected several times in the cargo of bananas in the ports of the Odesa region.
