The head of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, whose presidency is not recognized by the European Union and Ukraine, personally accused President Volodymyr Zelensky of training militants, supplying weapons and explosives to the territory of Belarus.
"My position on Ukraine. I revolved around Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, around Poroshenko, Zelensky. As he spoke with his son to Zelensky: "Volodya, we need this, we need that." He understood everything, understood everything, what happened to him? Okay, you yourself ran after the West, you supported them, you spat on everyone. But why are you training militants on the territory of Ukraine and throwing weapons at us here? After all, weapons come mainly from the territory of Ukraine. Why is he doing this, these are neighbors, relatives.
He is transferring weapons and explosives here across the border. We found it and showed it to them. And our chairman of the KGB clearly told them that we are seeing which of the security forces and official authorities in Ukraine is organizing this," Alexander Lukashenko said.
He added that the closure of the border with Ukraine was forced, although Ukrainians and Belarusians living in the border territories are "relatives who visited each other" across the border.
