Anatoly Khromov, the head of the State Archive Service of Ukraine, was shot at. The official himself reported this on his Facebook page.
He said that at that time he was on a business trip to Vinnytsia. I went there by train, and the official car stayed in Kyiv, at 24 Solomenskaya Street.
"At this time, a shot (or several) was fired from the neighboring house at my driver, who was near the garage. The bullets hit Sergei's chin, there is no threat to health or life," said Anatoly Khromov.
He also added that "the ambulance and the police did a good job," and the investigative team detained the likely shooter. Other circumstances are established.
"I don't know the motives of the person who shot. I do not associate this with anything and I ask you not to build conspiracy theories," said the head of the State Archive Service.
The press service of the Kyiv police specified that the attacker was a 32-year-old local resident. He explained that he allegedly decided to shoot birds from his balcony with an air rifle and accidentally hit a passerby.
Earlier in Kyiv, the car of the first assistant of the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Shefir, was shot.
