An attempt was made near Kyiv on the assistant of the President of Ukraine, one of the former leaders of the "95 quarter" Sergei Shephyr. As a result of the shelling of the car, the driver was injured, but Shefir himself was not injured.
At least 10 bullets were fired at the car.
The assistant to the president has already stated that the attempt was made to intimidate the highest echelon of power in the country.
In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky himself voiced his version during his visit to the USA.
"Since 2014, there have been no such steps regarding the president's entourage. That is, it speaks of a reaction to real changes in the state, what we want to do, and even what has not yet been achieved. That is, this direction was chosen correctly," says Zelensky.
According to him, groups that previously controlled the processes in Ukraine may be involved in the attempt.
"This indicates that if earlier everything was controlled by different groups, then today it is out of hand. Therefore, I consider this one of the probable versions of what happened," the president added.
