'Hijab on fire': Anti-government protests continue in Iran after police beat 22-year-old Mahsa Amini to death for 'improperly wearing hijab'.

The girl's relatives claim that she was severely beaten during detention, and the authorities say that the young girl "had a heart attack." Tehran Police Chief Sardar Hossein Rahimi said that the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was an accident, and the information about this tragedy spread by the media is a complete lie.

Later, Fars News published a surveillance video that allegedly confirmed Rahimi's words. The recording shows a girl (presumably Mahsa) talking to representatives of the "morality police" in the premises for "educational activities", after which she faints. Then there are shots of the injured girl being taken away by an ambulance.

The entire video lasts about a minute and it is unclear what happened before and after the woman fell. It is also not known how much time passed between her fall and the arrival of emergency services.

The country's authorities are losing control over the situation. Protesters throw Molotov cocktails at military vehicles, according to preliminary data, they managed to seize a weapons warehouse in one of the cities.

The video shows a map of protests across the country.

A video from social media shows protesters in Tehran setting fire to a police car and clashing with law enforcement at close range.

The police chief of Guilan province announced the "arrest of 739 rebels, including 60 women."

Meanwhile, Iranian authorities are restricting access to the Internet in the country. On September 21, the country restricted access to the last two social networks left in the country — Instagram and WhatsApp. WhatsApp servers were down at several ISPs in the hours after the Instagram platform was blocked.

Iran must respond decisively to the protests that have swept the country after the death of Mahsi Amini, who was detained by the police. This was stated by the president of the republic, Ibrahim Raisi, Reuters reports.
