A resident of White Church was killed by a can of cucumbers, in the literal sense of the word. About this incident сообщает the press service of the Kyiv Oblast Police is on Facebook.
A 42-year-old local resident pounded meat with a kitchen hammer on the table, where a jar of cucumbers stood nearby. The man accidentally caught a can, it fell and broke, and one of the fragments bounced into the victim's leg and damaged a vein.
The man tried to stop the bleeding on his own, but it didn't work. As a result, he lost a large amount of blood, lost consciousness and died, and his body was found by a neighbor who called the police.
Police patrols, an investigative team and doctors worked at the scene of the accident, who confirmed the man's death.
On the fact of the man's death, the investigators of the Belotserk district police department began a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 115 (Intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Note that in the case of an undetermined obvious natural cause of death, as well as in the case of a violent cause of death, a pre-trial investigation according to the specified qualification is mandatory.
