According to the latest data, 44 people died, including five children. The younger boy was not even a year old. 39 people were saved, 79 people were injured.
"The search and rescue operation has been completed. Thank you to the rescuers, doctors, policemen, utility workers, volunteers... We thank the mayor of the city Boris Filatov, his deputies and the entire Dnipro mayor's office. Thank you to everyone who fought and helped the victims for these long 69 hours. And he continues to do it," said the head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Reznichenko.
The search and rescue operation lasted 69 hours.
Five children remained orphans. Three guardianships are formalized by relatives. The two children are now in the care of the state, as they have no relatives to take care of them.
