Received in the President's Office statement on the resignation of Oleksiy Arestovych from the post of freelance adviser.
On January 17, Oleksiy Arestovich published a photo of his handwritten resignation letter: "I want to show an example of civilized behavior: a fundamental mistake means resignation," added the freelance adviser to the President's Office
According to the press secretary of the president, Serhiy Nikiforov, the dismissal order has already been signed.
"The Head of the Apparatus of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Maria Vitushek, signed the corresponding order on the dismissal of Arestovych," the message reads.
We will remind you that Arestovych is resigning against the background of a loud noise scandal, which he provoked on January 14. Then, in a conversation with the Russian Mark Feigin, he stated that the hit of a Russian missile in a high-rise building in Dnipro was allegedly the result of the work of Ukrainian air defense. The command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine quickly refuted Arestovych's words, saying that the Ukrainian military does not have the means capable of shooting down the Kh-22 missiles. This was confirmed by military experts.
