The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the illegal mechanism organized by the top management of the Boryspil International Airport during the purchase of services for the capital construction of transport infrastructure facilities. This was reported in the SBU press center.
The operatives established that representatives of the general contractor and the airport administration jointly falsified the volumes of work performed and construction materials delivered in 2017-18.
Then the dealers conducted non-stock operations through a number of commercial structures with signs of fictitiousness. In this way, they cashed almost 37 million hryvnias of state funds and unfoundedly generated a VAT tax credit of more than 6 million hryvnias.
Law enforcement officers searched the offices and residences of the defendants in the case and seized documentation and electronic media containing information about illegal transactions, as well as notes and drafts with records that confirm the illegal nature of the transactions.
