More than three hundred pine trees were fixed on the metal frame. These works have already been completed. The next step is to decorate the festive tree with New Year's toys, garlands, balls and other decorations.
Unlike the Christmas tree on Duma Square, the festive tree on Deribasovskaya is a live one. Its height is more than 15 meters.
This year, the theme of the holiday is marine, because the coming 2022 is the Black Water Tiger. The City Hall plans to spend 5,8 million UAH on preparing the city for the New Year and Christmas. This amount includes both a festive town with a Christmas tree on Duma Square, and a marine photo zone on the Potemkin Stairs, as well as decorating the city with New Year's illuminations.
