Residents of Ukraine named the main politician and the main disappointment of 2021. In both cases, the current head of state Vladimir Zelensky took first place. These are the results of a poll conducted jointly by the "Democratic Initiatives" foundation and the social service of the Razumkov Center.
17,3% of Ukrainians consider Zelensky the politician of the year. The second most popular opinion follows the opinion that someone should be called the politician of the year in Ukraine at the moment (14,6%). The former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, is in third place (8,1%). Next is the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko (8%).
The main disappointment of the year, according to the results of the rating, was also Vladimir Zelensky. This point of view is held by 45,1% of the survey participants.
With a large gap, Poroshenko follows (8,5%), Viktor Medvedchuk, the head of the Political Council of the "Opposition Platform — For Life", rounds out the top three (3,2%). Another 3% called Razumkov's main disappointment. Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychko, Verkhovna Rada deputies Mykola Tyshchenko and Ilya Kyva, as well as Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal gained from 1 to 1,5%.
In addition, 3% of respondents said that all the listed politicians are worthy of this nomination.
