Turkey will finance the construction of the Bayraktar production plant in Ukraine. This was announced by Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar.
"According to the agreements, Turkey will build the Bayraktar testing, training and maintenance center to train the Ukrainian military and develop new technologies with them in order to create a complete and reliable system in Ukraine," said Baykar's general director.
According to him, the service center will be built soon. In it, the Ukrainian military will undergo training, as well as maintain UAVs for the Armed Forces. At this stage, work is underway to sign the contract, after which the center will be built very quickly.
At the same time, a project to build a plant in Ukraine is underway. Drones will not only be built on them, but their modernization will also be carried out.
"Implementation of both the center and the enterprise will be fully provided at the expense of the Baykar company. This will be a 100% investment. We have already purchased the land for this project and are moving forward," said Bayraktar.
We note that now the Ukrainian military is going to Turkey for training.
