In Kharkov, they prepared the largest hot dog in Ukraine, which entered the Book of Records of Ukraine in the category "Culinary Art". This was reported by the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vetrova.
The length of a hot dog is 2 meters 16 cm.
It is known that such a giant was prepared by the Rogan meat processing plant.
The main ingredient is a classic sausage. Traditionally, Korean carrots, pickled cucumbers, pickled onions and cottage cheese are used to prepare the fast food that everyone loves. And also - almost a liter of ketchup and mustard.
"It would take at least 6 people to bring such a gigantic hot dog to the stage. And ten times more to eat him," said Lana Vetrova.
She also emphasized that hot dog records are very popular in the world. In the USA there is even a national hot dog day. The Americans introduced the tradition of setting records in this category. The longest hot dog in the world is 203,8 m.
It should be noted that the Kharkiv hot dog exceeded the previous record of 1 meter 83 cm long, which was prepared in Kyiv in September of this year, and two years ago in the capital, a record hot dog with a length of 1 m 20 cm was set.
