The new diesel train of the Kryukovsky plant began to operate on the Odessa-Izmail route on November 20.
The new express has 170 comfortable seats equipped with individual sockets and USB connectors, two toilets, one of which can accommodate disabled people, as well as a modern salon air conditioning system.
The "Danube Express" covers a distance of 280 km between the final stations in 4 hours and 40 minutes. During this time, the journey makes 7 stops of 2 minutes each.
A trip on an express train is cheaper than a shuttle bus - 189 hryvnias against 230. This price is achieved due to the fact that at least 5 million UAH will be allocated annually from the regional budget for maintenance and travel compensation.
Route #7001/7002 departs from Odesa station at 19:50 and via Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Kulevcha, Sarata, Artsyz, Glavany, Dzynylor and Kotlabukh stations arrives in Izmail at 00:32. The return journey begins at 01:29 with a return to Odessa at 06:11 in the morning.
