The deputy chairman of the "Servant of the People" faction Mykola Tyshchenko joined the created parliamentary group on legislative amendments to settle the war in Donbass. The People's Deputy stated this during a briefing at the "Parkovy" shopping center in Kyiv.
— When the president went to the parliament, his main thesis, for which the whole country voted, was peace. "Therefore, today we are finding a new solution, and I am indeed one of the members of this group," Tyshchenko said during a briefing during the faction's meeting.
The deputy chairman of the "Servant of the People" faction also said that the details of the work of the new group, whose task is to help the president in establishing peace in Ukraine, will soon be communicated to the public.
- Not everything is as good as we would like. That is why the president and we, as his team, are looking for a new solution. All these decisions are aimed at fulfilling our promises as people's deputies and as citizens of this country, - added Mykola Tyshchenko.
Earlier, on his Facebook page, the parliamentarian told about the group in question:
— Today, for the first time, he took part in the parliamentary group on legislative amendments in Donbass. As I predicted, both professionals and frankly weak representatives working to divide Ukrainians on both sides of the conflict work here. But my position is unchanged, and it is similar to the position of the president. "There is no other side." First of all, there are Ukrainians who were divided by the war in Donbass. And our common task is to unite families, unite people, unite Ukraine. We will do everything possible to bring peace as soon as possible, - emphasized the people's deputy.
