The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPK) said that the decision of the Constitutional Court to abolish electronic declaration blocks the process of appointing the leading personnel of the authorities, including the winners of local elections.
This was reported by the press service of the NAPK.
"The Constitutional Court of Ukraine denied the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption access to the state registers necessary for conducting a special check of the declarations of candidates for leadership positions in the authorities. Without this check, no head of a state body can be officially appointed," the message said.
Therefore, the NAPK declares that the Central Committee blocked the implementation of the results of local elections, since the appointment of candidates elected to the positions of chairmen of regional and district councils and their deputies is possible only after they pass special checks.
As a reminder, on October 27, the Constitutional Court declared electronic declaration illegal and dismissed the power of the National People's Committee.
