All leisure facilities will be closed: theaters, cinemas, concert halls, amusement parks, public houses, fitness clubs and non-professional sports clubs, swimming pools. At the same time, individual sports activities in the open air will be allowed.
Also, service enterprises will be closed: cosmetic, massage and tattoo parlors, restaurants and cafes, except for those that sell takeaway food.
Hairdressing and physiotherapy offices will continue to operate.
Visitors can be in stores at the same time at the rate of one person per 10 square meters of retail space. Schools and kindergartens will continue to operate as usual.
Sports matches, including in the Bundesliga, will be held without spectators.
Merkel motivated the decision by the fact that the number of patients in intensive care units has doubled in the last 10 days. Over the past day, 14 new cases of infection have been identified, almost twice as many as last Wednesday. This is the highest indicator since the beginning of the pandemic.
In turn, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, announced the second national isolation, at least for the whole of November, it is reported with the BBC.
Starting Friday, people will be allowed to leave the house only for important work or for medical reasons. They will have to fill out the form when leaving the house, as it was at the beginning of the epidemic.
Restaurants and bars will be closed, but schools and businesses will continue to operate.
