Former people's deputy, mayor and ex-head of Kharkiv regional state administration Mikhail Dobkin will not run for the post of mayor of Kharkiv. The politician reported this in his Telegram channel.
"Today I withdrew my candidacy in favor of Gennady Kernes. He goes to the amendment and participates in the mayoral elections. This is my mission accomplished. I wish him and his bloc victory in the elections," Dobkin wrote.
As a reminder, on September 23, Dobkin submitted documents for registration as a candidate for the position of mayor of Kharkiv as self-nominated.
