Today, January 27, the hryvnia exchange rate crossed the psychological mark of 29 UAH/$ on the interbank foreign exchange market. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Finance.
As of 14:54 p.m., the hryvnia exchange rate of the national currency against the US dollar was UAH 29,02. And I bought it for UAH 29.
The national currency weakened to a minimum since February 2015.
Demand for the purchase of foreign currency strongly prevails over supply, analysts note. Foreigners and Ukrainian businesses withdraw money due to war panic.
