In the village of Hrymalovka, Zolochiv district, Lviv region, an 82-mm mortar mine from the Second World War was found in the forest, which was hanging on a tree several hundred meters from residential buildings. This was reported by the staff of the State Emergency Service of the Lviv region.
It is remarkable that she lay there for about 80 years. The rescuers noted that obsolete ammunition can be extremely dangerous, and you can come across them even in such "surprising places".
"Of course, this mine did not grow on a tree like a fruit, and it has not been hanging there since the beginning of the war. It was carefully hung there by indifferent citizens who believe that this is the only correct way out when an explosive object is discovered. He will not report, but will hang up like that, because let someone else call 101... Don't do that," the State Emergency Service urges.
As a result, the mine was neutralized by pyrotechnics.
