In Ukraine, due to the coronavirus, higher education institutions are temporarily switching to distance learning. Such a decision was made during the last meeting with the President of Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the parliamentary committee on national health, medical care and medical insurance, Mikhail Radutsky, on his Facebook page.
"We are temporarily transferring universities to distance learning. This decision is fully supported by the management of educational institutions," he wrote.
And he noted that there are already several outbreaks of coronavirus infection among university employees and students, as well as fatal cases.
"Last week, the dean of the Shevchenko National University of Geography died," said Radutsky.
He also stated the need to conduct an information campaign among students about the dangers of the coronavirus.
"Young people should understand that today it is better to limit the number of contacts and minimize their stay in crowded places. The life of their parents, grandparents is also their responsibility," said Radutsky.
