In Ukraine, the Cyber Center UA30, which is part of the structure of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine, was opened. This was reported in the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
Cyber center UA30 is the newest state center for responding to cyber incidents. It includes an updated training platform with a unique technology for working out real scenarios of cyberattacks in an educational environment. There are only about 20 such platforms in the world, six of which are in the USA.
Among the priorities of the Cyber Center is the protection of critical information infrastructure: state registries, digital services, state information resources and enterprise information systems.
"The strategy of cyber reform - UA30 - is an instrument that will allow Ukraine to become one of the strongest countries in the field of cyber protection, so that every citizen feels safe in the digital state," stressed the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.
And he noted that the Cyber Center is becoming the security administrator of the National Center for Reservation of State Information Resources, where 2024% of the registers must be transferred by 80.
The Cybercenter also has a government team for responding to computer emergency events of Ukraine, CERT-UA. This is the only team from Ukraine that has FIRST accreditation and can quickly interact with response teams from 96 countries around the world.
We will add that the Cyber Center will provide cyber protection, detection and response services to cyber threats for both state organizations and ordinary citizens. This is protection that was previously available only to state structures.
