In the program of the Odessa Wine Week festival, which will be held from May 18 to 23, 2021, a number of original concepts have been developed to popularize Ukrainian wine.
One of them is "Air tasting".
This idea was supported by UIA airline and MIRS corporation, the official distributor of RIEDEL in Ukraine.
For the first time in Ukraine, as part of Odessa Wine Week, an air trip on the wings of UIA will take place in the history of Ukrainian winemaking and the phenomenon of Odessa cuisine.
Only 150 passengers of the unique flight will be the first to taste the top-10 Ukrainian wines — winners of the All-Ukrainian tasting competition "Odessa Wine & Spirit Awards" at an altitude of 000 meters.
In addition, wine tasting will be held in combination with authentic Odessa cuisine.
And in order to emphasize the exquisite taste and aroma of the best wines of Ukraine, special RIEDEL tasting glasses, a world-famous brand for true wine connoisseurs, will be used. Individual tasting glasses and aprons will remain with the flight passengers as a memorable gift of a unique air travel.
The tasting will be conducted by a highly qualified sommelier, and the service on board will be provided by UIA flight attendants who have diplomas in wine etiquette.
The event is held with the assistance and comprehensive support of the International Airport "Odessa".
Takeoff — May 22 at 12:00 p.m. from Odessa airport. The whole event will take 2 hours.
