In Ukraine, on December 19, the eSupport project was officially launched in the "Action" application. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The Ministry of Digitization team developed the technical part of the service implementation. A week before the official launch of the project, specialists launched a pilot service. More than 4,5 million Ukrainians registered for it, 4,1 million special cards were opened in the bank. 2,7 million Ukrainians have already submitted their applications for payments.
In order to receive 1000 hryvnias. it is necessary to be a citizen of Ukraine at the age of 18 and have a "green" vaccination certificate in the "Action" application. At the same time, in order to receive a payment in 2021, it is necessary to submit an application in the period from December 19 to December 29, inclusive.
"For the first time in the world, a similar innovative service is technically implemented. The Mintsifry team independently developed all the mechanics. They looked for different options around the world, but realized that they do not exist yet. We have developed an algorithm so that a person does not need to go anywhere to send his data or receive funds, everything happens automatically. Only a few clicks to open the card and register for the service. Receipt of UAH 1000. without contacts with other people and state institutions. That is very important in the conditions of a pandemic," said the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.

Money can be spent on books, a gym, tickets to the cinema, theater, museums, concerts or on trips within Ukraine. More information about how support works in the "Action" application is available on the site - https://e-aid.diia.gov.ua.
Money is provided for 4 months from the moment of receipt. If they are not spent during this time, the account will be closed. Funds can be spent both online and offline, but only on specified categories of Ukrainian business. Banks will recognize the category when paying by card with the help of MSS codes.
The first stage of the program will be held this year. It will be continued next year as well. In the future, alternative mechanisms for receiving payments will be developed - not only in the "Action" application.
