Only two out of 25 regions of Ukraine do not meet the conditions for leaving the "red" level of epidemic safety. This was stated by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko at a briefing on the situation with the spread of COVID-19 in the territory of Ukraine.
We are talking about the Volyn and Zaporozhye regions.
"The remaining 23 regions have either already been removed from the red zone or will be removed in the coming days by the decision of the commission on technogenic and ecological hazards and emergency situations," he said.
And he added that today the epidemic situation in Ukraine is much better than in European countries. At the same time, he reminded about the threat of the new Omicron strain, which has already been discovered in more than 90 countries, including Ukraine.
