Ukraine took the 25th position in the rating of military power Global Firepower, in which the potential military power of 138 countries was assessed. The annual GFP rating is based on the percentage of GDP that countries allocate to military spending.
So, in 2021, Ukraine takes 25th place out of 138 countries. States are classified by potential military power. Ukraine has a PwrIndx*0,4413 rating.
It is noted that each nation is evaluated on the basis of individual and collective values processed with the help of a formula. Factors ranging from military strength and finances to logistical capabilities and geography are evaluated. The ideal PwrIndx score is 0,0000, which is really unattainable within the current formula. The smaller the value, the more powerful is the nation's theoretical combat capability.
The first three positions in the rating were taken by the USA, Russia and China.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the financing of the defense sphere will only grow, and one of the priorities remains increasing the combat capabilities of the Navy.
