The electricity tariff for households consuming less than 250 kW per month will be reduced to UAH 1,44 per kWh. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the government meeting on August 11.
He noted that for households with a monthly consumption of more than 250 kilowatts, the electricity tariff will remain unchanged.
"For Ukrainian families consuming more than 250 kW per month, the price remains unchanged - i.e. 1 hryvnia 68 kopecks," the head of government said.
The new rules will come into effect on October 1.
