The opening ceremony of the 11th Odessa International Film Festival will take place on September 25 at 19:00 p.m. This was reported in the press service of the film forum.
Note that this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the related quarantine, the festival will be held online for the first time.
Traditionally, the film festival will begin with the opening ceremony, which will also be held in an innovative online format.
The opening film will be the political comedy "Barefoot Emperor" directed by husband and wife Peter Brosenson and Jessica Woodworth. This is a sequel to their previous film "King of the Belgians", which won the Grand Prix at the eighth Odessa Film Festival.
During the nine days of the festival, viewers will get to know world hits, participants and winners of class A film festivals, meet their authors, as well as master classes and press conferences.
