The Security Service of Ukraine announced the suspicion of the well-known blogger, leader of the "Sharia Party" Anatoly Shary under the article about high treason and violation of equal rights of citizens.
This was reported by the press center of the SBU.
The suspicion was declared by the procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office in the framework of criminal proceedings under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - part 1 of article 111 (state treason) and part 1 of article 161 (violation of equal rights of citizens depending on their race, national affiliation, religious convinced, disabled and on other grounds).
"In particular, as regards the last article, it is about inciting national, racial or religious enmity and hatred, humiliating national honor and dignity, and the like. The evidence of the investigation is confirmed by a number of expert studies, which established that A. Shary's interviews and speeches contain facts of his subversive activities against Ukraine," the message said.
