Law enforcement officials say that mobile groups are primarily aimed at explaining fines and the importance of wearing masks correctly. During today's checks on transport and public places, the Kyiv police distributed masks to those who did not have them.
"Only in the event that citizens do not react to the policemen's remarks and refuse to use protective equipment, law enforcement officers within the limits of their competence and in accordance with their official powers will bring such offenders to justice," the message said.
Let us remind you that from today in Ukraine, fines were started for not wearing a mask. Punishment will result not only for not wearing a mask in a public place, but also for wearing it incorrectly, in particular, if it does not cover the nose. A fine of 170 to 255 hryvnias will have to be paid immediately on the spot.
