Today, September 28, the Shevchenko District Court of Kyiv determined the composition of the court that will hear the merits of the case on the accusation of Andrey Antonenko, Yana Dugar, and Yulia Kuzmenko in the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet.
Hryhoriy Firsov, Nataliya Globa and Yury Mykhaylenko have been identified as the main jurors in this case. Yury Fedorenko and Lyudmila Yakovenko were chosen as alternate jurors. The presiding judge at the meeting is Holub Oksana, and judge Maryna Antonyuk also takes part in it.
The lawyers of the suspects requested the removal of the juror Yury Mykhaylenko, but the court refused and left him in the case.
As a reminder, journalist Pavlo Sheremet was killed in the summer of 2016 in the center of Kyiv. The car he was in was blown up, as a result of which the journalist died on the spot.
In December 2019, law enforcement officers announced suspicion of murder against three persons: military nurse Yana Dugar, volunteer and pediatric vascular heart surgeon Yulia Kuzmenko, as well as musician and ATO veteran Andrey Antonenko.
