The announcement of the verdict in one of the Sternenko cases was postponed

Primorsky District Court of Odesa postponed the announcement of the sentence to Sergei Sternenko due to the fact that the judge did not have time to prepare it.

Primorsky District Court of Odesa postponed the announcement of the sentence to Sergei Sternenko due to the fact that the judge did not have time to prepare it. The accused himself believes that the Office of the President is pressuring the court.

Sternenko himself reported on the possible announcement of the sentence the day before on social networks. In the 6-year-old case, the prosecutor's office demands that he be sent to prison for 8 years with confiscation of property.

Thus, according to the police, in 2015, Sternenko and his accomplices kidnapped the deputy of the Lyman District Council, Sergey Shcherbych. The victim testified that they took him to the Office of the Right Sector, where they tied him up, beat him with a baton, pressed his fingers with pliers, and also discharged a traumatic pistol into his legs and back. And then they threw it out near the Suvorovsky court in Odessa.
