The first batch of the coronavirus vaccine will arrive in Ukraine on February 20-21. This will be an AstraZeneca drug manufactured in India.
The corresponding document, which the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent to the Ministry of Health, is published by the ProfyTroll Telegram channel.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received a note from the Embassy of the Republic of India in Ukraine regarding the planned arrival of a batch of Indian Covid-19 vaccine in the amount of 500 doses at the Boryspil International Airport on February 000-20, 21 and a request to organize the participation of representatives of the Government of Ukraine in the ceremony of meeting and handing over the vaccines the Ukrainian side... In view of the fact that this issue is exclusively within the competence of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, we ask you to process the issues raised by the Indian side and guide the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," the document says.
