Today, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on online registration. Now it will be possible to register a place of residence in 10 minutes without leaving home.
The law is in the second reading and now awaits the signatures of the head of the parliament and the president.
Now, in the "Action" application, you can specify the address of your actual residence, and then get confirmation from the owner of the home. This means that the stamp in the passport and the paper statement for the ID card are canceled.
"No long walks to Administrative Service Centers - only online confirmation. We completely change the philosophy of registration. Instead of three established ones, 30 days of waiting and paperwork, there is one application that is processed on the first day," Mikhail Fedorov emphasized.
Note that the place of registration will not give a person the right to own a home, but will only inform the state where he lives. Removal from the previous place of registration will happen automatically.
The Minister of Digital Transformation added that the service already works in 7 cities in an experimental format. Soon it will be available everywhere.
