Representatives of the Australian start-up Alauda Racing held the world's first Airspeeder flying electric car race.
Races were held in drag racing style. Two remote-controlled flying cars competed for speed.
The MK3 Speeder Airspeeder device weighs about 100 kg and is equipped with an electric transmission. It accelerates to 201 km/h.
Meanwhile, Japan has issued the first safety certificate to a flying car created by SkyDrive. Now the company plans to turn its cars into flying taxis by 2025.
