The Cabinet of Ministers increased the income and expenditure part of the Pension Fund of Ukraine by more than 18 billion hryvnias. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"Increasing the resources of the Pension Fund will allow for a planned increase in pensions from December 1 to UAH 2600. The increase will occur due to the increase of the minimum wage to UAH 6500. This is only part of the measures to implement a comprehensive plan to improve social standards for Ukrainians," Shmyhal emphasized during the government meeting.
According to him, the increase in pensions, salaries and social benefits will occur on a regular basis, as this is the responsibility of the state and government.
