On the night of Thursday, February 25, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (VACS) chose a measure of restraint against the former top manager of "Privatbank" Vladimir Yatsenko, who is suspected of embezzlement of more than 137 million hryvnias. Ego was detained for two months. The judge also appointed an alternative of withholding bail for a very large sum.

"The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court sent the former First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Privatbank Vladimir Yatsenko to custody until April 22, 2021. The judge also appointed the alternative of withholding bail in the amount of UAH 52," the judges said.
The court also added that the prosecutors asked to set a bail of UAH 136,8 million, since Yatsenko is involved in the case of embezzlement of almost UAH 137 million.
According to the court's decision, if Yatsenko is granted bail, he must wear an electronic bracelet and not leave the Dnipropetrovsk region without the permission of the investigator, the court, the prosecutor, refrain from communicating with other suspects in the case and witnesses, and surrender all passports.
