Women MPs and state workers were prohibited from traveling abroad without reason during martial law, — Cabinet of Ministers

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made public Resolution No. 69 of January 27 of this year, which establishes restrictions on border crossing by women working in government bodies, state-owned enterprises and deputies.

According to the resolution, the ban on women crossing the border, except for business trips, applies to the following positions:

  • First deputies and deputy ministers, heads of central executive bodies, their first deputies and deputies, the State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, his first deputy and deputies,
  • Head of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, his first deputy and deputies, state secretaries of ministries,
  • The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and his deputies, heads of other auxiliary bodies and services established by the President of Ukraine, and their deputies,
  • The head of the Security Service, his first deputy and deputies,
  • Chairman and members of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting,
  • Chairman and members of the Accounting Chamber,
  • Chairman and members of the Central Election Commission, chairs and members of other state collegial bodies,
  • Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, his first deputy and deputies,
  • People's deputies of Ukraine, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and his representatives,
  • The Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine, his first deputy and deputies,
  • Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and his deputies,
  • Heads of local state administrations, their first deputies and deputies,
  • Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, judges, prosecutors,
  • Heads of other state bodies and their deputies,
  • Deputies of local councils, as well as heads of structural subdivisions of state bodies and local self-government bodies and employees booked for the period of mobilization and wartime by state authorities, other state bodies, local self-government bodies,
  • Heads of state unitary enterprises and their deputies, heads and members of the executive bodies of economic companies, in the authorized capital of which 50 percent or more of shares (shares) belong to the state,
  • The head and members of the executive bodies of economic companies, in the authorized capital of which 50 percent or more of the shares (shares) belong to business associations in which the state's share is 100 percent, including subsidiaries.

Permission to travel abroad is also granted to single parents who have a child under the age of 18 who is abroad, or to accompany such children to travel outside Ukraine. For treatment abroad, in the presence of a letter from the Minister of Health and in case of death abroad of one of the family members.
