Valery Zaluzhnyi canceled the decision of the General Staff on the procedure for issuing travel permits to conscripts

The decision limiting the movement of conscripts within the borders of Ukraine, in order to prevent further manipulations around this issue, the document will be sent for finalization.

"The updated document will be developed on the basis of changes to the laws of Ukraine and subordinate legal acts that regulate the movement of citizens under martial law. The existing legislative framework does not take into account the realities of today and does not provide effective mobilization mechanisms," — said Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

According to him, the document initially concerned exclusively the internal work of the TCC and JV and did not create obligations, restrictions on the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens.

Valery Zaluzhny reported that on July 6, a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held. During this, the issue of movement restrictions for conscripts was considered.

"I emphasize that this document initially concerned exclusively the internal work of the TCC and JV and did not create obligations, restrictions on the rights and freedoms of citizens of Ukraine. Despite this, its appearance on the network caused numerous manipulations, misreadings and even illegal actions to prevent the movement of citizens, which became the basis for discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the military-political leadership of the state," Zaluzhny emphasized.
