The Odesa City Council has started preparations for the possible holding of the EXPO 2030 exhibition, which is an open international platform for the demonstration of advanced technical and technological achievements. The next step in preparation for EXPO 2030 was the creation of a special working group in the city council, as stated in the order on site city council
The text of the document informs about the creation of a "working group on the implementation of a set of measures to ensure the holding of the World Exhibition "Expo - 2030" in Odesa" and approves its composition.
The composition of the working group was published in the appendix to the order, which included Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov, ex-head of the Odesa Military Administration Serhii Hrynevetskyi, deputy mayors Serhii Tetyukhin, Oleg Bryndak and Dmytro Zheman, as well as a number of heads of departments of the Odesa City Council.
We would like to remind you that Expo world exhibitions are the largest global events, like the Olympic Games. Ukraine submitted an application to hold the EHRO 2030 in the city of Odesa the year before last. As part of the event, which takes place once every five years, countries present their achievements in innovation, technological developments, demonstrate their culture, traditions and offer their vision of the future.
