The national postal operator delivered 10 tons of humanitarian aid from Italy to Ukraine this week. Ukrposhta delivered 26 pallets of baby food, products, water and medicines from a warehouse in Poland (Perymyshl) to Lviv. In a few days, this humanitarian aid will be transferred to the east and south of Ukraine, where it will be distributed in accordance with the requests of local authorities and volunteers.
"Thanks to Italy for 10 tons of non-addressable aid - everyone's support is very important to Ukraine. Ukrpochta is constantly in contact with local authorities and volunteers, so the lists of recipients are already ready, and our workers at the sorting centers are already waiting for the goods to arrive in their cities in order to start helping people as soon as possible," commented Ukrpochta General Director Igor Smelyansky .
As a reminder, Ukrposhta has launched a humanitarian mission since the beginning of the war - the postal operator delivers humanitarian goods from abroad and directs them to the regions most affected by shelling.
