The salaries of medical workers will be increased from January 1, 2021. Health Minister Maksym Stepanov announced this at a briefing on Monday, August 17.
"From September 1, we will receive a salary increase for our medical workers: doctors, nurses and junior medical personnel. This is the issue that is under the personal control of the president of the country, and this is only the beginning of the increase in this salary. We plan to increase it even more from January, starting from the first of January," Stepanov said.
It is worth noting that more than 60 doctors have already become victims of the coronavirus. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health has not published information about doctors who died from COVID-19 for a month and a half.
