As expected, the largest number of refugees with the status of temporary protection are in Poland - 1. Germany is in second place with more than 563 refugees, and the Czech Republic is in third place with 880 Ukrainians who fled the war.
It should be noted that more than one and a half million refugees in Poland are not all Ukrainians.

In addition, the Polish government stated that it is beneficial for the country to have Ukrainians living on their territory, despite all the costs.
"We spent 3,5 billion zlotys (750 million euros) to help Ukrainians, but the calculations of the vice president of the Polish Development Fund, Bartosz Marchuk, show that we received 10 billion zlotys (2 billion euros) from the taxes they paid," he said in November Professor Maciej Duszczyk from the Migration Research Center of the University of Warsaw.
