The Ukrainian passport service became available in four countries — Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Turkey.
In these countries, separate divisions of the Ukrainian state-owned enterprise "Dokument" have started work. This was reported by Ministry of Reintegration. Currently, separate divisions of SE Dokument operate in Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw), Slovakia (Bratislava), Czech Republic (Prague) and Turkey (Istanbul).
Here, Ukrainians can get the following services:
- issuing an ID card or foreign passport (including replacing a lost or stolen one);
- exchange of an ID card or passport (in connection with expiration, change of information, unfitness for use);
- exchange of a 1994 model passport for an ID card (upon request or in case of ineligibility);
- simultaneous issuance of a foreign passport and an ID card;
exchange of driver's license.
It is noted that citizen service is provided from Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00. You can submit an application for the issuance of passport documents either by prior appointment or on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment is made directly on the spot - using the online payment service. For this, it is enough to have only a smartphone and bank card details with you.
On May 7, 2022, the Government of Ukraine approved the implementation of the experimental project. It was reported that Ukrainians who went abroad because of the war were allowed to receive two passports at once: domestic and foreign. For those who remained in Ukraine, it was allowed to obtain the service of simultaneous issuance of an ID card and a foreign passport.
