According to the law enforcement officers, "PVK Redan" is a Russian information project created with the aim of involving Ukrainian children in destabilizing the situation in the country.
The policemen made a note for Ukrainian parents on how to find out if their children do not belong to the pro-Russian youth movement "PMC Redan". The information was published on the department's official Facebook page.
Distinctive features of Redan PMC participants:
- use of spider symbols on clothing and accessories;
- long dyed hair;
- dark clothes of a free cut.
Basically, large groups of teenagers who are supporters of this subculture gather:
- on city squares;
- in shopping and entertainment centers;
- in the central areas of cities.
The police also gave some advice to parents of teenagers.
Thus, law enforcement officers call on adults to pay attention to children, to constantly explain the rules of behavior and to protect them from unjustified acts.
Ukrainians are also asked not to allow situations where minors are influenced by an aggressor by supporting such flash mobs.
"Take care of children, take an interest in their leisure activities, in particular, interests in the Internet, problematic issues and become the best friends for them," summarize the police officers.
What is Redan PMC
This is the direction of the youth subculture that spread in February 2023. Its members allegedly condemn violence from other subcultures and advocate individual style.
According to the police, the artificial spread of this subculture is a Russian information and psychological operation.
The goal is to use children to destabilize the internal situation in Ukraine.
